These smoked peach pie chipotle baked beans bring a unique twist to a classic dish. Slow-cooked beans are simmered in a rich sauce that combines the sweetness of peach fruit filling with the smoky heat of chipotle peppers. The peach filling adds a deep, fruity layer that perfectly balances the touch of brown sugar. The complexity of smoke, these baked beans offer a mouthwatering, barbecue-ready side dish that’s both sweet and spicy with a peachy punch!
Step 1
Preheat smoker to 275F. Fruit pellets work best for this recipe.
Step 2
While the smoker is heating up, to a large bowl, add in both cans of baked beans, the brown sugar, BBQ sauce, and minced chipotle peppers; mix to combine.
Step 3
Stir in the Lucky Leaf Peach Fruit Filling or Topping. Transfer the mixture to a heat-safe casserole dish. *You can also use a disposable aluminum pan as well.
Step 4
Place the dish on the top rack and smoke for 3 hours. Remove from the smoker and allow it to rest for 20 minutes before serving.
Step 5
Store all leftovers in an air-tight container.
