Peach Upside Down Cake

Delight in the sweet, sunny flavors of a Peach Upside Down Cake made with luscious peach fruit filling! This irresistible dessert begins with a layer of golden peach fruit filling spread across the bottom of the pan, creating a juicy, caramelized topping as it bakes. A buttery cake batter is poured on top, absorbing the rich peach juices and baking to a tender perfection. Once inverted, the cake reveals its stunning layer of glistening, peaches on top. The combination of moist cake and sweet peaches makes every bite melt in your mouth. Perfect served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a true taste of peaches in every slice!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and light flour a 10-cup Bundt* pan; set aside.

  2. Step 2
Beat eggs, oil, and almond extract in large bowl with an electric mixer until combined. Add cake mix; beat on low speed about 30 seconds or until combined and smooth. Fold in 1 can peach fruit filling.

  3. Step 3
Spoon batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Loosen edge of cake from pan. Invert pan with cake onto wire rack; remove pan from cake and cool completely.

  4. Step 4
Heat remaining can of peach fruit filling over medium heat just until slightly warm. Arrange peach slices on top of cake; spoon on glaze from fruit filling. Cut to serve. (Or, slice cake and serve fruit filling over cake slices.)
