Prepare for an explosion of flavor with Cherry Pie Bites! These irresistible treats feature a flaky, golden crust enveloping luscious, sweet-tart cherry fruit filling. Each bite-sized treat is baked to perfection, delivering a warm, gooey center bursting with classic cherry pie goodness.
Perfect for parties, holiday gatherings, or a cozy dessert night, these handheld delights are easy to make and impossible to resist. Drizzle with icing for an extra touch of sweetness. With every bite, you’ll savor the comforting taste of homemade cherry pie—without the need for a fork!
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F and spray two muffin tins with nonstick baking spray.
Step 2
Take each biscuit and flatten into a 4” round. Place one tablespoon Lucky Leaf Cherry Fruit Filling in the center of each biscuit round. Seal the biscuit around the fruit filling, pinching to seal. Place one cherry pie bite seam side down in each muffin tin well.
Step 3
Bake for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from muffin tin and allow to cool on a cooling rack.
Step 4
Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Drizzle over the cherry pie bites and allow to set for about 10 minutes. Enjoy immediately.
Use regular canned biscuits, not ones with “flaky” layers. If using “grands” sized biscuits, peel them in half (so each biscuit makes two bites) before flattening.
