Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups LUCKY LEAF® Premium Apple Juice
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Step 1
    Preheat oven to 325° F.

  2. Step 2
    Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each addition.

  3. Step 3
    Sift flour, baking soda, salt, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add flour alternately with apple juice to sugar mixture. Fold in raisins and nuts.

  4. Step 4
    Bake in a greased bundt pan (or 2 loaf pans) for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Serve plain or sprinkled with powdered sugar.

    My question exactly! I don’t usually buy apple juice,, but I always only buy Lucky Leaf! The other suggestion would be apple cider.
