Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Prepare cake according to package directions. Divide batter over bottom of two jelly roll pans. Bake for 12 minutes. Do not over bake.
Step 3
Loosen edges and immediately turn upside down on towel sprinkled with confectioner's’ sugar.
Step 4
Prepare dessert topping according to directions. Fold pie filling into topping.
Step 5
Spread filling on angel food cake. Roll as a jelly roll. Wrap in aluminum foil and chill in refrigerator for one hour before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
