Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, prepare gingerbread mix according to package directions.
Step 3
Fold the apple pie filling into the batter. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Step 4
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Step 5
Let cool about 30 minutes. Serve cake with caramel and whipped topping.
I made the Caramel Apple Gingerbread Cake for Thanksgiving dessert. Not only was it super easy to prepare it was a huge hit with my family. It baked up beautifully and was ooey gooey awesome!!!
