Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Step 2
Line muffin tin with paper liners.
Step 3
Prepare cake batter according to directions on box.
Step 4
Fill batter in muffin tins, about 3/4 full. Add dollop of pie filling in the center of the batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes until done.
Step 5
Make the cobbler topping: In medium bowl, combine sugar, flour, brown sugar, butter, water and nuts until blended and chunky.
Step 6
Let cupcakes cool and top them with a small amount of remaining pie filling and then cobbler topping.
Did this recipe with a twist.. I used lemon cake mix. On the top I put lemon frosting around and the edge of the cupcake, then I put the blueberry in the center then put Cobbler topping on. I made these for our chicken dinner at the firehouse.
I love all the recipes I have tried. Beginning with the peach and apple and now I’m going to be playing with the blue berries. Sometimes they are hard to find and I know that it’s not an option to others sometimes! Thanks for the recipes it makes it so much easier to make it wonderful.
