Ingredients

  • For the Bars:
  • ½ cup salted butter, room temperature
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 can LUCKY LEAF® Premium or Organic Blueberry Fruit Filling or Topping
  • For the Streusel topping:
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons butter, melted
  • For the Drizzle:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 teaspoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease an 8 X 11 or 8 X 8 inch baking pan.

Cream butter; add sugar and beat well.

Beat in eggs one at a time.

Add vanilla.

Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon together. Gradually stir into creamed butter and sugar.

Spread 3/4 of dough in greased pan.

Spread blueberry pie filling over dough.

Spoon remaining dough over pie filling, spreading lightly. * Not all pie filling will b e covered.

In separate small bowl, combine streusel ingredients and then sprinkle over top of bars.

Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes.

Cool for 15 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over bars.
